Albury Wodonga Health - Wodonga Campus - Midwife Care Program

The Midwife Care Program at the Albury Wodonga Health - Wodonga Campus offers women with uncomplicated pregnancies an alternative to traditional forms of care.

An initial assessment is made to determine your suitability for becoming a Midwife Care client.

The focus of the Midwife Care Program is on preparation, involvement and active birth. The program provides an opportunity for women and their families to participate fully in the pregnancy and labour.

Midwives are responsible for your care throughout the pregnancy, labour and postnatal period.

Should complications develop, you will be referred back to your GP Obstetric Provider.
