The theme of the museum is the living and working conditions of the pioneers of the Jindera district. The complex is composed of the original store building (1874) with a detailed display of merchandise, attached house and contents, an authentic slab hut, a wattle and daub cottage, large galleries, an extensive collection of farm machinery and implements, and an original 1872 blacksmith and wheelwright shop.
